At Rajasthali Books, we are committed to delivering your books safely and promptly across India. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver orders placed through our website.
Rajasthali Books is owned and operated by Rajasthali Law Institute, a Proprietorship concern of Mr. Madan Kumar Singh.
By placing an order on our website, you agree to this Shipping & Delivery Policy.
1. Shipping Coverage
We currently deliver books across India.
Our delivery services are available to most serviceable PIN codes through our logistics partners.
If your location is not serviceable, our customer support team will contact you regarding your order.
2. Courier Partners
To ensure reliable and secure delivery, we ship orders through trusted courier partners, including:
- Delhivery
- India Post
We may also use other reputed logistics partners whenever required to improve delivery efficiency.
3. Order Processing
Orders are processed only after successful payment confirmation or confirmation of Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.
Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days, excluding Sundays and public holidays.
During periods of high demand, promotional offers, or unforeseen circumstances, processing times may be slightly longer.
4. Estimated Delivery Time
Once dispatched, most orders are delivered within 8–10 working days, depending on:
- Delivery location
- Courier network
- Service availability
- Weather conditions
- Public holidays
- Other operational factors
Delivery timelines are estimates and should not be considered guaranteed delivery dates.
5. Shipping Charges
Applicable shipping charges, if any, will be displayed during the checkout process before you complete your purchase.
Any promotional offers, free shipping eligibility, or shipping discounts will also be reflected at checkout.
6. Cash on Delivery (COD)
Cash on Delivery (COD) is available for eligible PIN codes across India.
COD availability depends on:
- Delivery location
- Courier serviceability
- Order value
- Internal verification
We reserve the right to disable COD for certain locations or orders without prior notice.
7. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, we may provide shipment tracking details through:
- SMS
- WhatsApp (where applicable)
Tracking updates are generated by the respective courier partners and may take some time to reflect after dispatch.
8. Delivery Attempts
Our courier partners may make multiple delivery attempts before returning a shipment.
If delivery cannot be completed because:
- The customer is unavailable,
- The delivery address is incorrect or incomplete,
- The customer refuses delivery, or
- The customer cannot be contacted,
the order may be returned to us.
Additional shipping charges may apply if re-dispatch is requested.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- The delivery address is accurate and complete.
- The mobile number provided is active and reachable.
- Someone is available to receive the shipment at the delivery address.
- Any delivery instructions are clearly communicated during checkout.
Rajasthali Books shall not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect customer information.
10. Delivery Delays
Although we strive to deliver all orders within the estimated timeline, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Public holidays
- Government restrictions
- Strikes or transportation disruptions
- Remote delivery locations
- Courier operational delays
- Technical issues
We appreciate your patience in such situations and will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.
11. Non-Delivery of Orders
If your order has not been delivered within 8–10 working days, you are requested to contact our customer support team.
We will coordinate with the courier partner to investigate the shipment.
If we are unable to complete the delivery due to reasons attributable to Rajasthali Books or our logistics partners, we will arrange a suitable resolution, which may include:
- Re-dispatch of the order, or
- A full refund in accordance with our Return, Refund & Replacement Policy.
12. Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries
If you receive:
- A damaged book, or
- A book different from the one you ordered,
please notify us within 3 days of delivery.
Customers may be asked to provide:
- Order ID
- Photographs of the product
- Photographs of the packaging
- A brief description of the issue
Eligible requests will be handled in accordance with our Return, Refund & Replacement Policy.
13. Risk and Ownership
Ownership of the products transfers to the customer upon successful delivery to the shipping address provided during checkout.
Customers are advised to inspect the package at the time of delivery and report any issues promptly.
14. Incorrect Shipping Address
If an incorrect or incomplete shipping address is provided by the customer:
- Delivery may be delayed or unsuccessful.
- Additional shipping charges may apply for re-dispatch.
- Rajasthali Books shall not be liable for losses arising from inaccurate shipping information provided by the customer.

15. International Shipping
Currently, Rajasthali Books delivers only within India.
We do not offer international shipping at this time.
