Cancellation Policy

At Rajasthali Books, we strive to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible to ensure timely delivery. This Cancellation Policy explains when and how customers may cancel an order placed through our website.
Rajasthali Books is owned and operated by Rajasthali Law Institute, a Proprietorship concern of Mr. Madan Kumar Singh.
By placing an order on our website, you agree to this Cancellation Policy.
1. Order Cancellation by Customer
Customers may request the cancellation of an order only before it has been dispatched from our warehouse.
Once an order has been dispatched, it enters the shipping process and cannot be cancelled.
To request a cancellation before dispatch, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible with your:
- Order ID
- Full Name
- Registered Mobile Number
- Reason for Cancellation (optional)
Cancellation requests are subject to verification and confirmation by Rajasthali Books.
2. Refund for Cancelled Orders
If a cancellation request is approved before dispatch, any prepaid amount paid by the customer will be refunded.
Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method used during checkout.
For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders cancelled before dispatch, no refund is applicable as no payment has been collected.
The actual time taken for the refund to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, UPI service provider, or payment gateway.
3. Orders That Cannot Be Cancelled
Orders cannot be cancelled in the following situations:
- The order has already been dispatched.
- The shipment is in transit.
- The order has been delivered.
- The customer refuses delivery after dispatch.
- The order is being processed for replacement under our Return, Refund & Replacement Policy.

4. Cancellation by Rajasthali Books
Rajasthali Books reserves the right to cancel any order under certain circumstances, including but not limited to:
- The ordered book is out of stock.
- Incorrect pricing or product information has been published.
- Payment could not be verified.
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.
- Incomplete or inaccurate customer information has been provided.
- The delivery location is not serviceable.
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent order fulfillment.
If a prepaid order is cancelled by Rajasthali Books, the customer will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
5. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders
Cash on Delivery is available only for eligible serviceable locations.
Repeated refusal to accept COD orders or misuse of the COD facility may result in:
- Restriction of future COD orders.
- Requirement for prepaid payment on future purchases.
- Cancellation of pending COD orders at our discretion.
6. Changes to Orders
If your order has not yet been dispatched, you may contact our customer support team to request changes such as:
- Delivery address
- Contact number
- Minor order corrections
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request; however, changes cannot be guaranteed once order processing has begun.
After dispatch, no modifications to the order or delivery address can be made.
7. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved under this Cancellation Policy:
- Refunds for prepaid orders will be initiated within 5–10 business days.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method wherever possible.
- COD order refunds (where applicable) will be processed through bank transfer or another approved electronic payment method after receiving valid bank account details.
8. Force Majeure
Rajasthali Books shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or inability to fulfill orders due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Floods
- Earthquakes
- Pandemics
- Government restrictions
- Strikes
- Transportation disruptions
- Technical failures
- Courier network interruptions
- Other unforeseen events
9. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to modify or update this Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.
Any changes will become effective immediately upon publication on our website.
Customers are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
